<p>The most recent <a href="https://www.conference-board.org/data/consumerconfidence.cfm"><em>Consumer Confidence Survey</em></a> finds that, of those surveyed, the percentage of people planning to buy over the next six months has increased substantially since last fall (<em>see graph below</em>):</p>
